The Difference
That's why a KETTLER lasts longer.
From the outside, they look similar. The difference becomes apparent in the third season—in the frame, the material, and whether replacement parts are available.
| Characteristic | KETTLER | Other providers |
|---|---|---|
| Frame | Welded metal frame, tested to a load of 70 kg | A thin sleeve, often without any load specification |
| Reference | OEKO-TEX certified, removable and washable | Stitched firmly, fades and tears at the hem |
| Wheels | Puncture-proof EVA tyres with suspension | Hard plastic wheels, noisy and unsprung |
| Safety | 5-point harnesses, parking brakes on both sides, wrist strap | Rarely seatbelts, often no brakes |
| Spare parts | Available to reorder for years to come — directly from the manufacturer | None — if it’s faulty, you’ll have to buy a new one |
| Service | German customer service, over 75 years of brand history | Changing import brands without a contact person |
Buy the right one once instead of buying a new one every two years.
