Warranty


We provide a warranty of 2 years on all goods advertised with the warranty promise, as well as all other products available in the store. The period for calculating the warranty period begins with the invoice date. If defects in materials or workmanship occur during this period, we will provide under warranty one of the following services at our option:

  • free repair of the goods
  • free delivery of spare parts or
  • free exchange of the goods for an equivalent item (if necessary also a successor model, if the original goods are no longer available)

Warranty claims are excluded in case of damage to the goods caused by

  • misuse or improper handling
  • Environmental influences (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.)
  • Failure to observe any safety precautions
  • Failure to observe the operating instructions
  • Use of force (e.g. blow, impact, fall)
  • unauthorized repair attempts
  • normal wear and tear (some parts such as grips, brake plates, wheels, springs, foam pads, frame pads can wear out over time even with proper use and are not covered under warranty)

A claim under the warranty requires that you enable the examination of the warranty case by sending in the goods at our request. In this case, it must be ensured that damage during transport is avoided by using appropriate packaging.

However, it is usually sufficient if you send us photos of the damage in advance so that we can check the defect internally.

To apply for warranty service, you must provide us with proof of purchase (e.g. by enclosing a copy of the original invoice for the returned goods) or an order number for assignment. We ask for your understanding that without providing a proof of purchase the warranty service can be refused, since the proof serves the calculation of the warranty period. The warranty does not apply if our products are purchased from 2nd hand.

In any case, the warranty will be processed for you freight prepaid.

Your statutory rights in the event of defects are not limited by this warranty promise and can be claimed by you free of charge. Any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this warranty promise.

For the table tennis tables, we provide a 10-year warranty, which refers to the durability of the outdoor surface, for defects that can be proven to be due to a material or manufacturing defect, but especially for:

  • consistent mechanical properties
  • High impact and break resistance when used as intended
  • weather resistance and light fastness indoors and outdoors according to EN 438-2 section 29 (EN ISO 4892-2), grade 3.

Not included is damage due to improper use or improper cleaning and care, and damage caused by sand or abrasives.

The provision of warranty services does not extend or restart the warranty period for the product.

Existing guarantees and their conditions pursuant to Section 312d (1) in conjunction with Article 246a § 1 (1) sentence 1 no. 9 of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB)

Reference to the legal rights of the consumer in case of defects according to § 479 para. 1 no. 1 BGB

NOTE: Due to a business takeover, the warranty can only be claimed for models that can be proven to have been purchased from KETTLER Trading GmbH from 2020 onwards.

Transport damage

Please check your package for damage before accepting. The shipping company is obliged to note said damages.

Even if the carton arrives undamaged, the items may be damaged in transit. Therefore, we ask you to check the items for any defects after receipt and report this to us within 7 days.

In order to be able to examine your request as accurately as possible, we require:

  • a photo or video of the defect
  • a short description
  • Your order number
  • Your current address, should it have changed
